The Followers of Nimue
Our Lady of the Lake, The Green Lady, Sword Maiden
Nimue is a goddess who embodied humanity and nature, the balance and beauty, enlightenment and journey. She guided many of the races in the early days of the world, and her gardens were set throughout all of Meneros and gave birth to many great and noble trees, rivers, and bodies of water. The Great Oak is one such tree.
Worship of her is rare, however, her essence remains throughout much of the world of
Meneros and gave birth to the animistic religions of the druids and
many of the tribes of men.
Bodies of open water, glades, rivers, and springs are her holy places. She is also known for teaching young men and women to use the longsword, which she is often depicted with in art.
Holy Days: The first day of spring, the 1st of Isar, and the last day of summer, the 28th of Valek.
The Willow is sacred to her and Druids may use a willow wand as a Druidic Focus.
